The socialist primary in Paris for the 2026 municipal elections is set for June 30, 2026, to select the successor to Anne Hidalgo. The candidates are Rémi Féraud, supported by Hidalgo, and Emmanuel Grégoire. The decision was made by the socialist federation on March 7, 2025. Grégoire accused the federation of irregularities, claiming voter replacements influenced the outcome in favor of Féraud. The federation, however, maintained that they adhered to all rules.
